The whole scheduling workflow
Every pain below comes from contractors juggling whiteboards, group texts, and three calendars. Each maps to a specific Breche feature.
The pain
Whiteboard schedule rewritten every Monday morning.
What Breche does
The dispatch board is a kanban view with a column per crew or user and a row per day. Drag projects, service visits, and inspections onto a day to assign; drag between days to reschedule. The schedule lives in one place — no more photographing the whiteboard at 5 PM Friday.
The pain
Tech driving 25 minutes from one stop to the next when the next one is around the block.
What Breche does
Each user column has an Optimize Route button that orders that day's stops by drive time using Google Maps Distance Matrix. The optimized order writes back to the dispatch board and the route view. Field users open the route on their phone and tap to navigate in Google or Apple Maps.
The pain
Customer's appointment fell off the calendar because office staff edited it in Google Calendar.
What Breche does
Bidirectional sync with Google Calendar AND Outlook — events created in either system flow both ways. Multi-user, timezone-aware, with absolute-time RFC3339 offsets so a Phoenix dispatcher and a Boulder tech see the same moment regardless of DST. Source timezone never gets clobbered by pulls.
The pain
Recurring monthly service visits scheduled by hand every quarter.
What Breche does
Service contracts auto-generate visits on a configurable cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, custom). Each generated visit lands on the dispatch board ready to assign. Reschedule a single visit without breaking the recurrence; pause / resume the contract to suspend / resume the schedule.
The pain
Field user shows up at the wrong site because the schedule changed at 7 AM.
What Breche does
Schedule changes push notifications to the assigned user's mobile app and update their connected calendar. Same-day changes also surface on their home screen so they don't drive to yesterday's job. The activity log captures who changed what for audit + crew-comms accountability.
The pain
Inspections, service visits, and dispatch all live in different tools.
What Breche does
Every event type — project visits, service visits, inspections, dispatch stops, custom calendar events — renders on the same calendar with type-specific filters. Day view is a Google-Calendar-style time grid; week view is a column per day; month view is a summary grid. One calendar, every event.
Features
Column per crew or user, row per day. Drag-and-drop assignment and rescheduling. Times persist back to the underlying project / visit / event so every other view stays in sync.
Per-user Optimize Route button orders the day's stops by drive time via Google Maps Distance Matrix. Field users tap stops to navigate in Google or Apple Maps.
Day view: Google-Calendar-style time grid with lane-packing for overlaps. Week: column per day. Month: summary cells with compact time labels ("9a", "2:30p").
Single-provider per user, multi-user company-wide. Events flow both ways. RFC3339 offsets keep absolute time correct across timezones; source timezone never gets clobbered.
Service contracts auto-generate visits on a configurable cadence. Each visit lands on the dispatch board ready to assign. Reschedule individual visits without breaking the recurrence.
Mobile push to the assigned user, calendar updates if connected, and a same-day change banner on their home screen so nobody drives to the wrong site.
Click a user's column header on the dispatch board to open their day as a map with numbered stops in optimized order. Click a stop to drill to the project / visit detail.
Project events, service visits, inspections, and dispatch stops share one calendar with type filters. Hide what you don't need; show what you do, per user, per day.
