Let customers choose their finishes and fixtures against budget allowances, approve them in the portal, and auto-generate a change order when they go over.

Selections are the finishes and fixtures a customer picks — flooring, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting. Each selection can carry an allowance (the budgeted dollar amount), so both you and the customer know when a choice pushes the job over budget. Find them inside a project on the Proposals tab under the Selections sub-tab.
Click New to create a selection, name it (e.g. "Kitchen Countertop"), and add the choices the customer can pick from — each with a price and optional spec-sheet attachments. Set an allowance either per-selection or from a shared allowance pool that several selections draw against.
Click Send to customer and the client reviews the choices in their portal and approves the ones they want with an electronic signature. When they approve a choice, the other options for that selection are automatically set aside. Statuses move draft → sent → approved (or rejected).
When a customer picks a choice that costs more than its allowance, Breche can turn the overage into a change order so the extra is documented and billed — no awkward conversations later.
Allowances are the customer-facing budget for choices; your internal cost plan lives in Project Budgets. The two work together to keep a job profitable.
Proposals & E-Signatures
Build proposals with the drag-and-drop builder and collect electronic signatures.
Change Orders
Document and get sign-off on scope changes. Change orders work exactly like estimates — same builder, same signing — just tracked separately.
Project Budgets & Job Costing
Track internal project budgets, approve them, and see Budget vs Actual on the Profitability report.
